  17. I really enjoy the lesson plan format. It gives me a logical way to plan my lessons so that they will have a logical progression in class. Plus it helps me get out of the same old rut of teaching to one learning style.

  19. Just like personality, Our learning style is divided into 4 different areas. To affectively teach students, we need to build a lesson plan which contains all of the learning styles.

  20. I too learned the four different learning styles. I always knew that different people learned different ways but I never knew that it could be summed up into just 4 categories and we can make sure everyone in the class learns by using these too.

  23. I have learned just how much different learning styles are and how they fit our personalities, they are characteristics that go with each that are manifested in the way we do non-learning things and play games.

  24. My default teaching method is according to my own learning style and the way I was taught, so I need to plan my lessons well in order to reach all my kids with their individual learning styles. There are so many ways to do this and I can't wait to experiment with my own classes in the future!

  26. I'd heard of Hook, Book, Look, and Took, but not the learning styles that go with them. Realizing how important it is to use specific ways of teaching (more than just appealing to tactile, visual, and auditory) was new and I have really enjoyed learning about my student's styles and my own.

  28. I learned that creating a lesson plan can be a difficult process, but that it is well worth the time and is rewarding. I do not have to be afraid of not knowing what to do, but rather I can take the time to think of creative ideas, ask for advice, and then organize ideas into an effective, wholesome, and fun lesson.

  31. I learned that you can use pretty much anything to help people understand and learn what you are trying to teach. You especially can use it for a hook. I also learned the importance of variety between all the lessons.

  32. A new idea I have learned in class is focusing more on the "Look" part, appealing to Common Sense learners and realizing that students need to be able to apply the lesson to their own lives.

  33. A new idea that I learned in this class is the four different learning styles. More particularly, what I am and what I am not. I definitely realize that the activities in the imaginative and dynamic sections are harder for me to come up with, but they are important.

  36. A new Idea that I learned was the different learning styles. I knew that we all learned differently, but I like that I can now put a name to what happens. Also how to apply my teaching to each of those groups of individuals.
