I love using the whiteboard, whether I'm writing out something or drawing, because it helps me summarize what I'm trying to get across. I also love to hear input from students and the connections they make between the lesson and their own life. I also love doing crafts and playing games...anything that will get the message across to the kids!
Whiteboard or worksheets. I love to be able to write or draw the things I need to. I also love to have worksheets for the same reason. I want participation from the students and have them engaged.
Drawing is one method that I really enjoy. I like being able to draw the story on a large whiteboard or chalkboard as I tell it so that the kids can hopefully visualize if. It's nice to be able to do, because a lot of times I have something to draw on, even if I don't have any other visual aids with me.
I really like object lessons that help better understand the concepts being learned. I also like discussions and lectures to listen, retain, and discuss those concepts and our thoughts on them.
Anything that would get the kids involved - crafts, games, drama. Then end with a discussion to go over what was learned and how to apply it to our own lives
